Ritu's Jealousy

Ritu and Mahesh returned from Bangalore. Once back, he met Madhu was talking a lot about the function. At the same time, Madhu was talking about the party and was heaping laurels on Sonali. She even told that Sonali agreed to babysit Sundar the week when she was not there. There was a slight bit of jealousy in Ritu forming towards Sonali. First, being babysitting Sundar, since she had a lot of care and concern for Sundar. Second, taking Madhu and making her reveal her navel, which she thought might alert Raghav even more and impact Sundar’s behavior(which has already happened).

Sundar returned from school. Ritu and himself went outside for a walk. They were having a nice talk. Sundar too was praising Sonali as to how she made his mother happy by taking to the party. In turn, he too saw a lot of navels there. Second, Sonali too let Sundar play with her navel and navel ring when he was at her home. Ritu probed more on the navel play part. Sundar stated it one by one. He had played with her navel with toys.

She occasionally would make him drink ice water and then blow air on her navel.

She liked the chillness and the coolness which will be absorbed by the metal ring too. She had made him to use his middle finger to rub and rotate her navel ring.

Then she would grab his finger, close her eyes and kiss it. It was like a game to her.

Sometimes she used to belly dance in front of Sundar.

Sundar continued to tell that one day, Sonali got stomach pain and Sundar did the same oil treatment Ritu had given to her mom. He stated her navel ring was so beautiful and shining during the massage.

Hearing all of this made, Ritu although more jealous. But she noticed something weird that Sundar could not recollect what happened at the end of each day when he had been babysit. He was struggling to remember it was a blank to him. They returned from the walk. Ritu went to her apartment. She was pondering in her mind about Sundar’s statements of forgetting. Because she too was finding it difficult to remember the evening of the 2 days before the day, she got news from Mahesh about the award. Then something struck her mind, which was indeed shocking to her.
