A New Neighborhood Friend

A few months later

Dinu has now moved from 6th standard to 7th standard as the new academic year has begun.

Dinu even has got a new classmate who is none other than Harish. Both are of same age.

After they return from school, it’s revealed that Dinu and Harish are now neighborhood friends besides being school friends.

Harish and his mom Madhavi just recently shifted to Darjeeling as Madhavi got transferred to there and they live next to Dinu, Senthil, and Ganga.

Now Dinu and Harish are in their respective homes.

Ganga, who is already at home, smiles at Dinu as he returns from school, and hugs him.

Harish, on the other hand, waits for Madhavi to return home.

2 hours later

Dinu and Harish are tired and sweating because they were playing football. They then return to their respective homes, have a shower, and then wear a fresh set of clothes.

Ganga is now in a saree exactly like in the pic given below, with her navel peeking out.

Madhavi, on the other hand, is in a saree exactly like in the pic given below and is fully covered.

Dinu and Harish are studying while Ganga and Madhavi have a private conversation.

Ganga adjusts her saree to cover her belly just like in the gif given below.

MADHAVI: So, what are you doing professionally?

GANGA: I’m a housewife. What about you?

MADHAVI: I’m a health inspector.

GANGA: I see!!!! What do you do as a health inspector if you don’t mind me asking?

MADHAVI: I explore various restaurants and check whether they provide good food or contaminated food. And any restaurant that has food contamination shall be shut down.

Ganga nods her head.

GANGA: I see!!!!!!

MADHAVI: Yes. That’s my duty.

GANGA: Nice. And if my son and your son are friends, why can’t we be friends?

Madhavi chuckles.

MADHAVI: That’s a great idea. We are friends.

Ganga and Madhavi hug each other for a few seconds and then the hug breaks.

GANGA: Madhavi, if you don’t mind me asking, where is your husband?

Madhavi hands her head down and speaks in a serious tone.

MADHAVI: He is no more. He died while celebrating my son’s 3rd birthday. And from then onwards, I’m raising my son as a single mom.

Ganga is touched by Madhavi just said.

GANGA: I’m sorry, Madhavi.

MADHAVI: It’s okay. It’s not your fault. We all have our own setbacks in various forms. By the way, where does your husband work?

GANGA: My husband is a businessman.

Madhavi smiles widely.

MADHAVI: Really? What type of business does he run?

GANGA: He runs a construction company.

MADHAVI: Oh!!!!! Okay. Okay. Whenever you go our with your family, just make sure that you don’t fall sick due to contaminated food.

Ganga smiles.

GANGA: Don’t worry, Madhavi. We will be safe and sound. And having you as my friend makes it better.

Madhavi chuckles softly.

MADHAVI: I’m glad to hear that.

GANGA: Alright. You have to watch your son and I have to watch mine. We can talk tomorrow. Bye.

MADHAVI: Bye, Ganga. Have a nice day.

GANGA: Sure, Madhavi. You too.

Ganga and Madhavi hug each other again and then return to watch their respective sons who are still studying.

An hour later

The study time has ended and both Dinu and Harish are being tested by their respective mothers to check whether they really studied or not. To the good luck, they both answer every question correctly and they are being appreciated by their respective mothers.

Ganga again slides her saree to expose her belly.

Dinu plants kisses on Ganga’s navel.

Meanwhile, Harish slides Madhavi’s saree and plants a kiss right on her navel just like in the gif given below.

After receiving a good number of kisses on their navels from their respective sons, Ganga and Madhavi head to their respective kitchens and start preparing dinner.

Thus, Ganga has got Madhavi as her neighborhood friend and Dinu has got Harish as his neighborhood friend besides being his school friend.
