4 weeks later
DAY 1
Chaitali enters the class of Roy, clad in a brown saree just like in the pic given below.
All the students, including Roy, stand up and greet Chaitali by saying together in a chorus “Good Morning Madam”.
CHAITALI: Good morning, children. Sit down.
The students settle down.
CHAITALI: Okay, children. Ready for the test?
The students get shocked as Chaitali never told them about it.
ROY: But Madam, you never told us about test.
Chaitali grins.
CHAITALI: This is called “Surprise Test”. Now take out your notebooks.
The students, including Roy, despite feeling disappointed, take out their respective notebooks and pens.
Chaitali writes questions on the blackboard using a piece of chalk. After she’s done writing, she turns around to face the students.
CHAITALI: These are the questions I have written on the board. You all must answer those questions in your respective notebooks without copying from each other. Remember that this is a test.
ALL THE STUDENTS TOGETHER: Yes, Madam.
CHAITALI: Good. Now start writing.
The frustrated students (including Roy) start writing the test.
As usual, Roy occasionally glances at Chaitali’s midriff but not for too long as he is writing a test.
A few minutes later, Roy finishes writing the test, followed by other students. Chaitali corrects every student’s notebook, including that of Roy.
While correcting Roy’s notebook, she smiles at him.
CHAITALI: Well done, Roy. Keep up this good work.
Roy smiles back at Chaitali.
ROY: Of course, Madam. Thank you.
CHAITALI: Good. Now go back to your place.
Roy nods his head and goes back to his seat.
Since Chaitali has two consecutive periods, she stays back and starts giving notes.
Chaitali actually noticed Roy glancing at her midriff but she decides not to confront him regarding this as he might feel low.
DAY 2
After the first period is over, the second period starts. Chaitali leaves the class and another teacher comes in, clad in a green saree just like in the pic given below.
Her name is Donisha. She’s in her mid-thirties and teaches Science.
The students get up.
DONISHA: Good morning, children.
The students say “Good morning, Madam” together in a chorus.
DONISHA: Sit down.
The students sit down.
DONISHA: Today you will be having a surprise test.
The students are disappointed as they don’t want such test.
DONISHA: Now take out your notebooks. All of you.
The students plead to Donisha to postpone the rest which latter refuses.
DONISHA: You all have to write the test. No alternatives. No postponement. Pick up your notebooks and pens all of you.
The students, despite being disappointed, pick up their respective notebooks and pens.
Donisha picks up a piece of chalk and writes questions on the blackboard. Once she’s done, she turns around to face the students.
DONISHA: Alright. These are the questions I have written. Now write the answers in your notebooks.
The students say “Yes, Madam” and they start writing.
As students write, Donisha is on rounds to check for malpractices during the test.
Then suddenly a wind blows and Donisha’s saree slides, exposing her bare belly. She immediately adjusts her pallu and covers her belly.

Roy glances at Donisha’s exposed belly for some time and then he returns to write the test.
This repeats for a few more times until Donisha notices this and she walks towards Roy.
DONISHA: You are writing the test right?
ROY: Yes, Madam.
DONISHA: Then look into your notebook and at the blackboard. Don’t look at me.
Saying this, Donisha lands a slap on Roy’s back. Roy, instead of getting angry, understands that he should focus on the test first.
A few minutes later
All, including Roy, have finished writing the test and they all line up to get their respective copies corrected.
Roy has performed well in the surprise test of Science too and Donisha appreciates him.
DONISHA: Well done , dear. Keep it up.
Roy smiles warmly at Donisha.
ROY: Thank you, Madam.
Donisha smiles back at Roy.
DONISHA: Okay. Go back to your place.
ROY: Yes, Madam.
With a satisfied smile, Roy returns to his place.
DAY 3
In the third period comes Shweta. She’s in a blue saree with pink linings, and her navel is peeking out just like in the pic given below.
She too conducts a surprise test and this goes on just like day 1, i.e., Roy glancing at Shweta’s navel. Shweta notices it but she doesn’t care about it at all.
Day 4 and Day 5 go on like Day 2 and Day 1 respectively.
Roy receives a good compliment for his performance from every teacher in this “surprise test saga” from every teacher and he’s really happy about it.
