Roy – The Rare Gem

Chapter : 2

Second Day at School

A day after the events of the previous chapter

Chaitali is absent and thus, as a substitute, the students of class 7 go to library and they pick random magazines to read for time pass.

Their librarian, who is also their co-class teacher, is a gorgeous fair-skinned unmarried woman in her late-twenties wearing a black bindi, black full-handed transparent blouse and a black transparent saree.

She introduces herself as Pooja. And all the students introduce themselves to Pooja.

All other students have a chit-chat while Roy is deeply immersed in reading the magazine that he chose.

POOJA: There should be a pin-drop silence. No noise should be made.

The students lower their volume but continue their discussion. But Roy is still deeply immersed in reading his magazine and doesn’t speak even a single word. This is noticed by Pooja.

45 mins later

The bell rings, indicating that the first period is over.

POOJA: Okay, children. Please form a line.

All the students form two separate lines, i.e., a line for boys and a line for girls. All of them return the magazines that they collected and they leave but Roy stays back because Pooja told him to as she wants to have a private talk with him.

POOJA: Please take a chair and sit.

Roy picks a chair. And he and Pooja are seated opposite to each other where they have a private discussion.

POOJA: What’s your name, child?

ROY: My name is Roy.

POOJA: May I know who gave you this name?

ROY: My grandfather gave me this name.

Pooja nods her head.

POOJA: I see!!! But I think your actual name is something else.

Roy looks surprised.

ROY: Indeed, Madam. How do you know?

Pooja laughs softly.

POOJA: Because “Roy” is usually used as a surname. Now tell me. What is your actual name.

Roy looks at Pooja with an embarrassed smile.

ROY: My actual name is Rajendran.

Pooja doesn’t hear the name properly and thus she asks Roy to repeat his name.

POOJA: Would you mind repeating that?

Roy speaks in a bit louder, slower and clearer tone.

ROY: Rajendran is my actual name.

Pooja nods her head.

POOJA: Rajendran!!!! Alright!!!!! Your class teacher is Chaitali Madam, right?

ROY: Yes, Madam.

POOJA: She teaches Maths, right?

ROY: Yes, Madam. And I like the subject as well as her teaching style. I don’t know why she took leave today.

POOJA: What’s your favorite subject?

Roy sighs.

ROY: Uh…..I don’t have any favorites, Madam.

POOJA: Why? Everyone must have a favorite subject.

Roy sighs again.

ROY: Alright. My favorite subject is Maths because playing with numbers is my most favorite thing.

Pooja nods her head.

POOJA: I see. And who’s your favorite teacher?

ROY: I like all the teachers equally. No favoritism.

POOJA: Okay. I hope I’m not bothering you with too many questions.

Roy chuckles.

ROY: It’s okay, Madam. I can understand your curiosity.

Suddenly a wind flows in via a window and this slides Pooja’s pallu, exposing her bare belly and navel. Roy enjoys the sight of Pooja’s bare belly for some time until Pooja eventually covers her belly with her pallu.

Roy is a bit disappointed but decides to keep his calm and accepts that he can’t force any woman to expose her belly and navel.

Roy then shifts his focus back to the discussion.

ROY: You have got any more questions, Madam?

Pooja responds with a calm smile.

POOJA: No more questions, child. If I have any, I’ll call you. You can go back to your class now.

ROY: Okay, Madam. Thank you.

Roy eventually leaves the library room and on his way back to his class, he briefly reminisces the sight of Pooja and her beautiful belly and navel.

Roy just reached his class while his second period has already begun and some other teacher is already there. She’s another unmarried woman in her mid-twenties and is in a white blouse and lemon yellow saree.

She introduces herself as Shweta and she teaches Social Studies (History, Geography and Civics collectively). And her navel occasionally peeks out like in the pic given above.

SHWETA: Where were you?

ROY: Madam, I was in library and talking to library madam.

SHWETA: Okay. Come in.

Roy enters the class. As he’s about to go to his place, he’s stopped briefly by Shweta.

SHWETA: Wait. What’s your name?

ROY: Roy.

SHWETA: Okay. Be seated.

Roy is seated in his place. And Shweta starts taking classes on geography. Just like the maths class in the previous day, he pays attention to the lesson while also occasionally glancing at Shweta’s midriff.

Since Shweta has two consecutive periods, she gives notes in the third period. Everyone, including Roy, writes the notes.

Even while writing notes, Roy, in between, glances at Shweta’s navel that occasionally peeks out whenever she’s on rounds to check whether the student is writing or not.

Now Shweta is standing close to Roy and sees him being on pace with the notes being given. She smiles and pats his shoulder.

SHWETA: Good. Keep up this pace.

Roy nervously smiles back at Shweta.

ROY: Sure, Madam. Thanks.

Roy then continues writing notes and the notes stop when the 3rd period also ends and Shweta leaves the class.
